We won! The first ever mobile phone game nominated for a BAFTA Ones to Watch award is 'Mush' for the Windows Phone 7. It's also the first mobile phone game ever to win Dare to be Digital.
It's been a fantastic experience and we've really enjoyed the rollercoaster ride.
We're now pushing on with development and planning to release for the Windows Phone 7.
Thanks everyone for the support!

holy crap! HUGE congratulations!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win guys.
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd point out that Dynamo Games were the first mobile game to be nominated for a BAFTA, which they also won: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamo_Games they're from Dundee :)
I popped along to Protoplay and played it and it was great - very well deserved. I'd spoken to Ahmed briefly and he was cool :) You were definitely one of the friendliest teams I'd encountered over the weekend.
Good luck in March!

Am I correct in thinking Dynamo Games won for a mobile game released on the PSP rather than a mobile phone game?
ReplyDeleteHey again!
ReplyDeleteYou could technically say that it's the first mobile game to be nominated for a BAVGA, which is what the "Ones to Watch" award is :)
Excellent job again, totally enjoyed the game! :D I look forward to seeing what happens with the game/team/awards.

Hi Liam,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up regarding Dynamo Games. I looked through all the game awards but had no idea there was a Scotland-specific interactive award. Amendments have been made :)
Thanks also for the comments and I'm pleased you enjoyed the game! We played Colour Coded in White Space regularly and absolutely love it.
Keep up the great work!
